Tyler Ikehara

I am currently a fourth year Electrical Engineering PhD Candidate at the University of Maryland College Park. I recieved the M.S in Electrical Engineering from NYU Tandon in June 2025 and the B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in June 2022. My research interests focus on the intersection between Electromagnetics and Wireless Communications. The topic that I currently researching is the use of the Radon Transform and True Time Delay Beamforming for Ultra-Wide band antenna arrays. Previously, I have researched topics such as electromagnetic feedback arrays, Direct Antenna Modulation, and the use of Software Defined Radios for Hydrogen Line Radio Astronomy.
